Tabitha Kapic
Director of Innovation
Tabitha is an avid and experienced practitioner of design thinking and innovation methodologies. She has trained thousands of people across 32 countries to use gospel-centered, asset-based innovation to solve community challenges with community assets in new and surprising ways.
A career highlight was working with Dr. Brian Fikkert to create and launch Innovate, a high speed, design thinking system created to be used by people living on less than $2 per day.
Having worked in the humanitarian space both internationally and in the United States, Tabitha served at the American Embassy in London, led Medair US during their response to the 2010 Haitian earthquake, and facilitated strategic planning and design thinking processes through her work with Covenant College, her own consultancy firm, Bridge Innovate and now with The Chalmers Center.
She is delighted to serve alongside her inspiring colleagues at Chalmers to help churches and organizations rethink poverty and innovate God’s kingdom.
Tabitha and her husband, Dr. Kelly Kapic, live on Lookout Mountain near Chattanooga, Tennessee, and love spending time with each other and their children.
